My Crystal Story

I’m Dr. Neeti Kaushik—Founder of "Nitty Gritty with Dr. Neeti Kaushik."
Many of you know me from my journey as a School Principal turned content creator, motivational speaker, and life transformation coach. What began as a mission to touch the hearts of one million lives has now become to transform over 11 million beautiful souls across the globe.

But today, I want to share a more personal story—the story of how I entered the world of crystals.     

From as far back as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to crystals and stones. Whether it was the vibrant markets of Jaipur, the bustling streets of Delhi, tucked-away shops in different corners of India—or even during my international travels—my eyes would instinctively seek out these glimmering beauties.

At the time, I had no idea about their energies or healing impact. I simply admired their natural charm. Collecting them became a quiet little hobby of mine, a joy I couldn't explain.     

On a trip to Sri Lanka, I bought my first Yellow Topaz and Citrine, fascinated by their warmth and glow. From Poland, I picked up Amber rings, pendants, and even raw amber pieces—each one like holding a tiny piece of ancient light. Australia gifted me stunning Opal rings, their colors dancing like a secret rainbow.

       

In China, I found delicate pieces of Jade that I couldn’t resist. And in the United States, I was captivated by Herkimer Diamonds and rich Lapis Lazuli stones.

Eventually, these treasures inspired me to create my own customized jewelry. I would take them to a small jewelry shop near my home and turn these raw pieces into something personal, meaningful—bracelets, rings, pendants—all crafted with love.

       

Back then, I didn’t understand the energy they carried. I just felt good around them. It was beauty, intuition, and an unspoken connection. Little did I know, this was just the beginning of a much deeper journey.

Then, something shifted.

A dear friend once brought me a Clear Quartz tree from Singapore. It was mesmerizing. I placed it in my room and found myself looking at it every day—it brought me peace, happiness… a strange sense of calm. At the time, I didn’t question it. I just loved the feeling.

Some time later, another friend gifted me an Amethyst angel. I’ve always had a deep love for figurines—especially angels—so I kept it close. I even spoke to it before going to sleep, placing it gently under my pillow. What happened next was almost magical.

You see, for years I struggled with erratic sleep. Sometimes I couldn’t sleep at all and had to rely on sleeping pills. But once that Amethyst angel entered my life, I began sleeping deeply, peacefully—like I hadn’t in years. It was impossible to ignore. I knew it had something to do with that little angel. That was the first time I looked up its name—Amethyst—and the rest… as they say, is history.

       

I began diving deeper—reading, researching, experimenting. I bought books, watched videos, explored scientific and spiritual insights alike. I even experienced firsthand how powerful and transformative crystals could be.

Of course, I made mistakes along the way—like the time I bought my first Pyrite and unknowingly washed it, not realizing that moisture can cause its shine to fade. Or when I discovered that crystals need to be cleansed, charged, and protected—especially from sunlight or harsh environments. Every misstep became a lesson, and every lesson pulled me closer to the energy of these sacred stones.

Once I started experiencing transformation in my own life, I encouraged my friends and loved ones to try crystals too. The results they shared were astonishing. This wasn’t just about me anymore—it was about helping others heal, grow, and thrive.

As more people began to open up to the energy of crystals, the demand grew. My YouTube community started flooding me with heartfelt requests—“Where can we get the same crystals you use?”

But I knew the truth—not all crystals in the market are authentic. Many are synthetic, dyed, or energetically dead. Some sellers offer only the leftover pieces—Pisces, chipped, dull, or low vibrational—after picking out the finest ones for themselves. And that broke my heart.

Because I’ve always believed in using only the most authentic, high-vibration, top-quality crystals in my own life. And I couldn’t let my community settle for less.

That’s when I made a decision—to bring that same standard of purity, intention, and energy to others.

✨ And that’s how the Dr. Neeti Kaushik Crystal Shop was born—a place where every crystal is chosen with love, cleansed with care, and sent with the purest intention to support your journey.

I still remember the early days—taking orders on WhatsApp, packing each parcel myself, learning the ropes of couriering, one package at a time. One memory that always brings a smile: when our courier partner came to pick up orders and asked, “Where’s the QR code?” I had no clue what he meant! Back then, it was just me and my ever-supportive team member Pawan, figuring things out together. That courier boy kindly taught us how to generate QR codes—and that moment marked a turning point.

Soon after, I spent three entire months learning how to make a website—wanting it to be beautiful, easy to use, and a reflection of the trust and warmth I share with my community. And today, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude to see it bloom—receiving messages every day from people whose lives are changing through crystals.

Looking back now, it all feels destined.

After my father passed away, I discovered a collection of his old books—and nestled among them were various volumes on Ratna, Uparatna, and Rudraksha. Many of these were in English, while the rest were in Urdu, each one carrying deep wisdom and insights. These books are now a treasured part of my personal library, constantly enriching my understanding and deepening my purpose. It felt as though my journey into the world of crystals was not just my own—but something my soul was already connected to through generations.

My journey as a crystal healer was never planned… but somehow, it was always meant to be.
And I’m still learning. Still evolving.
