NEVER KEEP THESE CRYSTALS IN BEDROOM

NEVER KEEP THESE CRYSTALS IN BEDROOM

|Why You Shouldn’t Sleep with Certain Crystals and Where to Store Them|

Many of us are drawn to the beauty and energy of crystals and gemstones. We wear them as jewelry, carry them in our pockets, or use them for their healing properties. Crystals can be a source of strength, balance, and positivity during our waking hours, but have you ever considered their effect while you sleep? Specifically, many of us, particularly women, tend to wear our crystal jewelry throughout the day and forget to remove it before bed due to fatigue or simply out of habit. In fact, we may take off a bracelet or ring and place it on the bedside table, only to drift off without a second thought.

What many don’t realize is that crystals can have a significant impact on our sleep patterns. They can disrupt our sleep, leaving us restless or waking up frequently throughout the night. The energy that these crystals emit, which is so beneficial during the day, can become overwhelming when we’re trying to rest.

In this article, I, Dr Neeti Kaushik will share with you five powerful crystals that you should avoid keeping near your bed at night and explain why their high energy can interfere with your sleep. I’ll also suggest five crystals that can actually enhance your sleep quality. Let’s dive into how these stones affect our nighttime rest and what you can do to ensure a peaceful, restorative sleep.

Why You Should Remove Crystals Before Sleeping

Before we explore specific crystals, let’s address a common question: Is it really necessary to remove crystals before bed?

Well, let me ask you this: Do you remove your makeup before sleeping? Of course, you do!

Just as you take the time to remove your makeup before sleeping to let your skin breathe, the same principle applies to crystals. Wearing them all day long may feel empowering, but keeping them on during sleep can affect your energy field in ways you might not expect.

For instance, think about how unrealistic it would be to see someone in a TV show or movie wake up with perfectly applied makeup after a full night of sleep. In real life, we know that letting the skin rest and rejuvenate is essential. Similarly, your energy needs to settle down at night, free from the intense vibrations of certain crystals. Failing to remove these high-energy stones can lead to disturbed sleep, vivid dreams, and even fatigue upon waking.

So, which crystals should you avoid while sleeping? Let’s explore five commonly used crystals that, although incredibly beneficial during the day, might disrupt your sleep at night.

 1.Citrine: The Stone of Success

Citrine is a popular crystal, often used by those who want to enhance creativity, boost motivation, and attract success. It’s known to amplify energy and bring abundance into one’s life. For those who may not wear the gemstone Topaz, Citrine is often the preferred alternative.

However, while Citrine can be fantastic for energizing you during the day, it can overstimulate the mind at night. Imagine trying to drift into peaceful sleep, only to have your brain racing with new creative ideas and solutions. Citrine amplifies thoughts and increases mental activity, which is not ideal when you need to wind down and relax.

Sleeping with Citrine nearby can lead to restlessness, vivid dreams, and an inability to reach deep, restorative sleep. It’s best to remove any Citrine jewelry and store it away before bedtime.

2.Tiger’s Eye: The Stone of Focus

Tiger’s Eye is renowned for its ability to boost confidence, enhance mental clarity, and sharpen focus. Its energy is known to stimulate the solar plexus chakra, the center of personal power, which aids in building self-confidence and encouraging assertiveness. Many people turn to Tiger’s Eye when they need to focus on achieving specific goals, whether it’s preparing for an important meeting, excelling in an interview, or overcoming challenges with determination.

Tiger’s Eye is often associated with good fortune and protection, helping to deflect negative energy and promote success in various endeavors.

However, despite these powerful properties, Tiger’s Eye may not be the best companion during sleep. Its vibrant, focused energy that promotes alertness and mental sharpness during the day can keep your mind overly active at night. When placed near the bed, Tiger’s Eye can cause you to dwell on unfinished tasks, upcoming projects, or future plans, making it hard to relax and unwind. Instead of drifting into restful sleep, you may find yourself brainstorming ideas or worrying about the next day, leading to restless nights.

Even a small Tiger’s Eye crystal, such as a tumble stone or an angel figurine placed by your bed, can stimulate mental activity and disrupt the sleep cycle. To ensure a peaceful and restorative night’s sleep, it’s essential to store Tiger’s Eye away from your bedroom. Removing it before bed allows your mind to relax, helping you disconnect from the day’s worries and future tasks.

 3.Carnelian: The Motivator

Carnelian is a stone that radiates vitality and energy. It’s known for its ability to combat laziness and boost enthusiasm. If you’re feeling sluggish or unmotivated, wearing or carrying Carnelian can give you that much-needed push to take action and get things done.

However, Carnelian’s energizing properties can become a problem when it’s time to sleep. Its intense stimulation can prevent you from relaxing, leaving you feeling restless or overactive at bedtime. You might find yourself lying awake with a surge of energy, making it difficult to fall asleep.

For a peaceful night’s sleep, avoid wearing Carnelian or keeping it near your bed. Instead, store it away from your sleeping area to allow your body and mind to relax naturally.

 4.Hematite: The Grounding Stone

Hematite is often recommended for grounding and balancing energy. It’s excellent for those who feel scattered or overwhelmed, as it helps center and stabilize your emotions. Hematite works by removing excess energy and promoting a sense of calm.

While this may sound like a perfect quality for sleep, Hematite can sometimes have the opposite effect. It can create a sense of emotional detachment, making you feel cold or distant from those around you. This can lead to feelings of isolation or disconnect, which are not conducive to restful sleep, especially if you share your sleeping space with a partner or family members.

Although Hematite is great for grounding during the day, it’s best to avoid using it while you sleep. Store it away from your bed to prevent its cold, detaching energy from interfering with your sleep environment.

5. Labradorite: The Stone of Intuition

Labradorite is a stone that enhances intuition and psychic abilities. It’s particularly useful for meditation and spiritual development, helping you connect with higher realms and access deeper insights.

However, Labradorite’s ability to heighten your psychic senses can cause vivid, sometimes unsettling dreams. It can overstimulate your mind, making it difficult to achieve a peaceful, deep sleep. If you find yourself experiencing strange or intense dreams, Labradorite might be the culprit.

While it’s a powerful crystal for enhancing spiritual growth, it’s best to avoid sleeping with Labradorite near you. Keep it in a separate space to ensure your mind can fully relax at night.

 Where to Store These Crystals

After reading about these five high-energy crystals, you might wonder where to store them if not near your bed. Ideally, you should keep them in a separate space away from your bedroom, such as in a designated crystal box or on a shelf in another room. Personally, I have two dedicated boxes for my crystals, where I carefully store each stone to prevent any unwanted interference with my sleep.

By removing these crystals before bed and keeping them stored in a safe place, you can protect your sleep quality and still benefit from their energies during the day.

Crystals to Keep in Your Bedroom for Better Sleep

Now that we’ve discussed the crystals to avoid, let’s look at five crystals that can actually help you sleep better. These include:

  1. Amethyst: Known for its calming properties, Amethyst promotes restful sleep and peaceful dreams.

  1. Moonstone: This crystal is ideal for calming emotions and bringing tranquility, making it a perfect stone to keep in your bedroom.

  1. Rose Quartz with a Selenite Plate: Known for its gentle, loving energy, Rose Quartz promotes a peaceful environment conducive to restful sleep. When paired with a Selenite plate, the Selenite will help remove negativity, while the Rose Quartz will create a harmonious and calming atmosphere. This combination ensures that your space is free of unwanted energies and filled with soothing, loving vibrations, enhancing your overall sleep experience.

  1. Selenite: Selenite clears away negative energy and helps create a serene, peaceful atmosphere.

  1. Black Tourmaline: Known for its protective and grounding properties, Black Tourmaline helps reduce stress and neutralize negative energy, creating a calm environment for better sleep.

In conclusion, while crystals offer numerous benefits during the day, it’s essential to understand their effects at night. By removing high-energy crystals before bedtime and replacing them with more calming stones, you can create a restful sleep environment. Remember to store your crystals away from your sleeping area, ensuring a peaceful, rejuvenating night’s rest.
